Drywall

Drywall can create walls, ceilings, arches and other architectural oddities such as concealing ugly pipes or steel beams. Years ago, contractors used to put up lathe and plaster to create walls in a structure. If any homeowner is familiar with older materials you already know how labor intensive plaster is. This material is fairly reasonable to put up in a room, although you still have a dust mess to contain. However, MCC has a great team to keep that under control. Remember, we treat your home as if we were  working at our grandmas.

Purple Board

MCC uses purple board, in fact the product we prefer to use is PURPLE® drywall which is a high performance wall product featured on HGTV Smart Homes 2016. We would like to point out that drywall is also known as gypsum board or wallboard which is a naturally fire-resistant, paper-covered sheet of natural or synthetic gypsum. In addition, PURPLE® drywall is unique because it resists moisture, mold and mildew. Not to mention, most PURPLE® board products tend to stand up to scratches, scuffs, dents and sound. MCC wants to use the best quality material to withstand any type of residential abuse.

These are the benefits we use in our homes, so we recommend them in your home!

  • Fire Resistance
  • Sound Resistance
  • Impact Resistance
  • Abuse Resistance
  • Moisture Resistance
  • Mold & Mildew Resistance
